Interpretation Summary
Man advances the world by consuming nature (what is around him/in his environment)
Man advances the world by consuming what’s in his/her nature.
Nature advances the world by consuming man.
This cycle is constantly being repeated.
The flesh and bone were created first in this piece, as it was in the beginning of time.
Flesh and bone are in the paintings first dimension, at the bottom.
The rest of the painting happens in multiple dimensions. The second, the vertical line showing the tiger. The third showing the man eating the tiger (the purple line) and the blood and skull . You have to see all dimensions to understand the painting fully.
After flesh and bone were created, the flesh and bone were consumed by the tiger. The tiger was the predator.
Then man consumed the tiger. Man became the predator.
The skull is not the bone, in this painting, the skull is the soul. The soul is in the blood. The soul moves nature forward through this cycle. This cycle of prey and predator. Both necessary to each other.
The album is called Tetsuo and Youth. Tetsuo is translated as clear thinking man.
